First Environment staff has been providing air compliance services to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC)—a major (Title V) facility—since 2008. The scope of work includes preparing and submitting air emission statements, annual and semi- annual compliance certifications, annual combustion adjustments, and permit modifications, including netting analyses for expansions; we’ve also provided support in responding to compliance issues.
Specifically, First Environment has prepared submittals for Title V renewals, significant modifications, and periodic stack emission testing. We also guided the hospital through a burner replacement project for the facility’s three main boilers.
First Environment has also been responsible for keeping SJHMC abreast of regulatory changes and manages compliance reporting and other requirements as per MACT, NSPS and JJJJJJ standards. We have also provided air permitting and compliance services to the St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital, a synthetic minor affiliate of SJHMC.
