Meet the latest addition to First Environment team, Mark Everett, AICP, PP. Mark is a senior environmental planner with experience preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, environmental and land use studies, and traffic studies. He also conducts environmental permitting for complex projects. Mark has testified before numerous land use boards in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on behalf a wide variety transportation improvement plans, build-out studies, federal facilities, utilities, and public schools. In addition, he has experience with project scheduling for highway, transit, and public works projects. Mr. Everett has support a variety of clients, including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). He is familiar with permitting and compliance requirements for various regulations, including those under NEPA, New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), New York City Quality Review Act (CEQR), Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP), and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and other state agencies throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Mark received a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor’s in Economics and Geography from Bucknell University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners as well as a licensed Professional Planner in New Jersey.
