We recently welcomed the newest member of our site investigation and remediation team, Allen Attenborough. Allen is a Professional Geologist with more than 28 years of experience conducting environmental assessments and remediations for public and private sector clients. He has managed site portfolios for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Underground Storage Tank Fund, New Jersey Turnpike Authority, New Jersey Department of Transportation, Newark Public Schools, and CIT Group. He has also overseen site investigations and remedial actions at medium to large scale projects for clients including the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Shell, and Deutsche Relays. Allen is experienced in ASTM Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, groundwater sampling, underground storage tank (UST) closures, permit applications, and grant applications. His project experience includes assignments in the contiguous 48 states with a focus on the New Jersey tri-state area, and he has implemented requirements under New Jersey’s Licensed Site Remediation Program pursuant to the NJDEP Technical Requirements for Site Remediation. Allen has also served as the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) for approximately 34 Site Remediation Program cases and has issued 15 Response Action Outcome (RAO) letters to achieve regulatory closure.

Allen is a licensed Professional Geologist in the states of Delaware and Kentucky as well as a New Jersey LSRP. He earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Geology from Rutgers University, is a member of the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA), and is OSHA 40-Hour trained.
